Odd billboard

I find a lot of the billboards you see going to and from airports a bit puzzling. Who, based on a giant poster, stops and thinks to themselves, ‘You know what I’ve not had in a while… a nice bit of XML integration’. Maybe it’s a status symbol for niche businesses, or maybe they think it’s ‘what they ought to be doing’. I wonder if it pays off.
